How to get to the New England Aquarium

Trains Planes and Automobiles, Maps Directions and Parking. The News England Aquarium was built on Bostons historic waterfront. You should be able to use any means of transportation to reach it if you put a little thought into it before you just take right off.... Heres a few things to keep in mind A- I would like to get there in my own car..... We then the New England Aquarium is at 1 Central Warf, not to far from the Marriott Hotel and pretty close to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall sooooo #1 If your coming in from the wild wild west Take the Mass Turnpike to I-93 North. Take Exit 23 off I-93, marked "Gov't Center. North End, Aquarium, Quincy Market" Turn left at Surface Rd. and continue for three blocks. Turn left at Milk St. and the Aquarium will be straight ahead. #2 If you are going to sashay in from the south Take I-93 Northbound. Take Exit 23, marked "Gov't Center. North End, Aquarium, Quincy Market." Turn left at Surface Rd. and continue for three blocks. Turn left at Milk St. and the Aquarium will be straight ahead. #3 If you a Yankee from the north Take I-93 Southbound. Take exit 24 A-B (Callahan Tunnel/Government Center), which is the first exit after you enter the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Tunnel. Take the right or "A" side of the divided exit (Government Center). Stay left to turn onto Surface Road at the light. Go 2 blocks to Milk Street and turn left and the Aquarium will be straight ahead. #4 If you Hail From Cambridge Take Memorial Drive North to the intersection of 28 (McGrath-O'Brien Hwy) and go right, past the Museum of Science. When you come to the intersection of Storrow Drive, go straight across the intersection into the tunnel for 93 South. Take exit 24 A-B (Callahan Tunnel/Government Center), which is the first exit after you enter the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Tunnel. Take the right or "A" side of the divided exit (Government Center). Stay left to turn onto Surface Road at the light. Go 2 blocks to Milk Street and take a left and the Aquarium will be straight ah There is plenty of parking to be found at the New England Aquarium I am taking the train Good for you your a smart person. The subway stops a mere few yards away from the aquarium so no problems there. The New England Aquarium stop in on MBTA'S Blue link and all other subways connect to the Blue line if your from out of town. I am a coming by Boat Here you have Two options. One the Harbor Express that leave out from Hull, Quincy and the Logan Airport. Then there is the Salem Ferry and that will take of 6 times a day from Salem Massachusetts..... www.neaq.org for more information
